ORFEAS CHASAPIS TASSINIS

Orfeas is a Fellow at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow at the Athens Public International Law Center at the University of Athens. He holds degrees from Cambridge (PhD), NYU (LLM), Athens (LLM) and Thessaloniki (LLB).

Orfeas' research combines doctrinal and theoretical approaches, tackling fundamental issues of public international law from first principles. His monograph A Theory of International Organizations in Public International Law was published by Cambridge University Press in 2025. The book expands on Orfeas' thesis which was awarded the Cambridge University Yorke Prize.
