On Tuesday, 9 December, from 18:30 to 20:30, the Library of the School of Law (104 Solonos Street) will host a discussion inspired by the 2024 documentary film “Theatre of Violence”, which follows the International Criminal Court’s landmark trial of a former child soldier. The discussion, which will be held in English, will be introduced by Katerina Oikonomakou (Journalist, Inside Story).
The discussion will focus on the Ongwen case, the work of the International Criminal Court, and broader questions of international criminal responsibility, victimhood, and the role of international justice in situations of armed conflict.
The documentary film is available to watch at the following link:
The event is jointly curated by Panayiota Vayiou of the “Law and Art” group and Dr. Stavros-Evdokimos Pantazopoulos.
