ADMISSION

To be eligible for admission, prospective students must hold a Degree in Law. The Steering Committee may also accept a Degree in a field other than Law, provided that at least some of the course taught are related to the LL.M. Programme.

Prospective students must provide proof of at least a C1 level certificate of the English language. The proficiency must be demonstrated by means of an internationally recognized test (corresponding to C1 level).

Candidates who do not possess a title which proves their competence in one of the previous languages can instead sit a placement examination which will be conducted by one of our academic staff, based on a legal text. For that reason, interested candidates should indicate in their application the language they wish to be examined on.

The tuition fees for the LL.M. programme amount to 4.800 Euros and shall be paid in two instalments. The first instalment must be paid upon enrolment while the second instalment at the beginning of the spring semester.

No visa is required to enter Greece for studies, if you possess a valid passport from an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland. Nevertheless, applicants from countries outside the EU or the Schengen zone need a student visa. For more information, see here.

The length of time needed to acquire a student visa differs from country to country. For this reason, prospective students who are requested to apply for a student visa are encouraged to communicate well in advance with the Greek Embassy in their country for information on the procedure and on the time needed for the conclusion of the process. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.
